I'm still looking for something nice to watch with the anime this season, and so far, it seems there's nothing that would really stand out. *still hoping though*
I've only seen a few episodes of Mahou Shoujo, and sadly it really didn't pull me as much, but I guess I shouldn't judge an anime after watching only a few episodes.

I know I know.., all the series that where recently released for this season don't realy "appeal" to me.., specialy after Higurashi having ended...

Kanon 2006 is definitly not for me, and same could be said for Pumpekin scissors (altough Gonzo's animation is always superb.., oftently they're stories lack a bit of development & twist).
On Death Note, well.., I'm not sure if I like yet.., from what I read it seems interesting ; so.. I guess I might end up giving it a try after watching Nahona.

I'm not watching Nahona yet though, the torrent is still at 21% :P , but I decided to download the 1st season today first, and then the 23-26 [Yesy] Uta-mono subs later ; this today because.., I won't be home very much ^^

Regarding Nahona storywise.., well I've been looking at alot of reviews and I rarely saw any negative comments on it..., in fact.., this Anime has a Huge fanbase, and for a 3rd season to be made well.., I guess its definitly worth to take a look.

From all I've read now, it basicaly consists on Nahona finding her "powers" and then meeting Fate, etc etc.., more or less a typical story in these " Slayers" type universes.., which since I haven't seen a Anime of this gender in a while, it might be the right choice after all :)

However.., I have been warned.., during the 1st three episodes the story seems rather dull and somewhat un-interesting.., but! it picks up after that and in fact it goes as far as to extreamly heavy in drama & emotional issues on Season 2.
Hence this season 1 as I was told is to be looked at more like a prelude.., so I decided not to ditch it despite of the outcome of the first episodes.

And after all, this character does interest me.

Funny you should mencione her.., altough I can't recall her name, that character was in fact the first that caught my eye in this Anime...
And from what I've been reading.., it seems she holds some Realy dramatic aspects of the story in Season 2, hence.., now I can't wait to confirm if its true or not :)

I just hope I find the time to catch up with two seasons. =_=;

I know I know ^^, I am a bit puzzled at this myself :P , however.., if you still have the episodes with you, it would be nice to watch it along side you ; this way we could discuss things as they go :)

Seeing that new thread, I think you just might be right. I can't belive that you were able to suspect Takano Miyo, but yes, it does seem very possible. (..and even though, it's hard to belive, -like aliensporebomb mentioned, you can really *feel* that it's this is all Takano Miyo's doing)
And if we look at it, Takano has appeared in almost every arc, and has triggered something. ^^

...but yes, the plot twist was quite shocking, ... and I actually started to think that the parasites were the cause.
